Beer Pong

The most popular drinking game in America! A great team game where even the drunkest guy in the room can compete. Teams stand at opposing ends of a rectangular surface (ping pong table). Ten cups are formed in a pyramid at both ends of the table, with the base of the pyramid centered at the edge of the table. The players attempt to toss or bounce ping pong balls into the cups, each of which is filled with the drink of your choice. When a player makes a shot into a cup of the opposing team, a player from the opposing team drinks the contents of the cup and removes it from the table. The game continues in this way, with both teams rotating shots. The team that is able to clear all of the opposing team’s cups first is the winner, with the losing team splitting the drink of the winning team’s remaining cups.

Asshole

The first hand of asshole will decide who is the President, V-Pres, Normal People, Beer Bitch, and the Asshole for the next round. Play as many rounds as desired.

Deal all of the cards. 3 of clubs starts. The rank of the cards is as follows (most powerful to least powerful) 2, A, K, Q, ... 4, and 3. The 2 is the only card with "special powers". When a 2 is played, the round is over and the person that played it leads off the next round. The player that goes 2nd has two options:

Play a card of equal or higher value than the previous card or to pass on that turn. If the player passes, he/she must drink. If a card of equal value is played than the next player is skipped and must drink.  You can play pairs on pairs, triples on triples, etc.

For example, if a 3 is lead, a next player must play EQUAL or HIGHER than a 3, the next player has to play higher than that. A new round starts when all players pass, or when someone plays a 2 (the most powerful card). The last person to play a card leads the next round. This proceeds until all players get rid of their cards. The first player out of cards is the Pres for the next round, the next out becomes the VP, the next players out are normal, and the last person out is the Asshole.

The roles for each player are as follows:

President: can make any player drink at any time, no-one may make the President drink but self. The Pres is the first player to start each round (benefits of power).

Vice President: can make any player drink at any time (except Pres), only the Pres can make the VP drink. The VP goes second in each round.

Normal People: can make each other drink as well as the Asshole. They play in the order they finished the previous round.

Beer Bitch: can only make the Asshole drink. This player has to go get beer whenever another player needs one.

Asshole: for many reasons, this player is truly the Asshole. This player has to do all dealing of cards, all sweeping of cards after the hands, and cannot make any other player drink.

A few suggestions:

-at the end of each round, the players should move seats in order to reflect the hierarchy.

-start by playing your lowest card.

-abuse your power, especially when Pres or VP.

Drug Dealer

To play the game you need one playing card for each participant. You always need one King and one Ace, and a variety of numbered cards, but just one card per player.

The cards are dealt face down, take a quick peek. The person who gets the King is the cop, the person who gets the ace is the drug dealer, everyone else is a buyer.

The drug dealer's objective is to make as many deals as possible. He makes a deal by VERY discreetly winking at another player. If the buyer sees the wink, this person while eventually say’ the deal has been made.' This will go until the cop sees a wink and identifies the drug dealer. When the cop chooses correctly, the drug dealer drinks the the total of the numbers on the cards remaning on the table and the cop drinks the number total on deals made.

After that, the cards are redealt and the game goes on. This is a great game for when people don't feel like playing a game because it's the regular socializing that helps disguise any winks and keep the cop on his/her toes. However, it helps a lot if the players do sit in a circle while playing, and not spread around a room.

Flip Cup

Have everybody divide up into two even teams. Each team lines up opposite each other, preferably down a long table. Fill each keg cup with equal amounts of beer and place on the table in front of each player. The players can not touch their cup before their turn. The first players on each team start the game by drinking all of their beer and setting the cup upside down on the edge of the table. The player then flips the cup with their finger until it flips at least 360 degrees and lands face down on the table. This continues for each player down the line. The first team to finish wins.

Caps

Originated in Lanham, MD, caps is a competitive game that is sure to get the party started. You can play one-on-one or doubles. Teams should sit on the ground about 10-15 feet away from each other. Place a cup of beer (specify the amount before starting) between the two people sitting on each side.

Try to throw a cap into the other team's glass. Turn is rotated back and forth between the players on opposite teams. If you make it, you score a point and the other team has to drink the cup. The other team has the opportunity to match the shot. If matched, the other team drinks or matches it again. This can continue back and forth, until a cap goes unanswered.

We recommend using keg cups and playing to 11, win by 2. If a player shoots out of turn, they have to drink. Pour as much beer in the cup as you like. Speed increases as people get better, but slows down as people get drunker.
